Bjorn's custom home made Triumph Chopper

One of my mates Bjorn lives in Norway and sent in these pictures of his very cool chopper.

Starting life as a 1969 Bonneville, the frame has been fully modified into the hard tail you see here.

The engine did not escape the spanners either. The original '69 engine was scrapped for a later '71 T120R 650cc motor that now sports Morgo race heads and cylinders along with a full race camshaft. The Morgo cylinders and high compression pistons take the displacement to 750cc and along with the 48mm Delorto carburettors let this beast unleash a lot more horses.

Time for a rebuild over winter and the chopper changes again ! This time a complete front end from a Harley Softail with 4" over legs was bolted up. New billet aluminium triple trees with a 5 degree rake were used to keep the bike long and low.

Total rake for the chop now stands at 48 degrees. The oil tank is home made and the fuel tank is from an early Sportster.
