Bjorn from Norway has just added this very cool customised Sportster to his bike collection. He tells me he needed something awesome to ride around on while he works on his Triumph Chopper
Starting out as a stock 1988 XLH 1200 Sportster this bike has seen a few excellent modifications to change it into the head turning bike you see here.
The most striking change was to fit up a fatbob tank and dash from an FXR to give his Sporty a big bike look.
Next, the standard rear guard was hit with the sheet metal working tools, cutting it down and shaping it for a mean, clean look.
A Snake eye tail light and number plate holder was added to the rear end and a 4 piston front brake caliper bolted onto the forks to give the Sporty some serious braking ability.
A badlander style seat completes the sleek look of the tank and guards while a set of chromed western style drag bars round out the front end.
Aftermarket billet mirrors, highway pegs and a custom red spray job were added to give the bike the great look you see here.
